COULD NUCLEOBASES FORM IN THE ISM? A THEORETICAL STUDY IN THE HORSEHEAD NEBULA

چکیده
This work presents the results of a theoretical study that analyzed possibility nucleobases to form in interstellar medium, Horsehead nebula, which is region considered an archetype molecular cloud. Performing Meudon PDR code, reactions nitrogen bases formation from formamide, precursor compound identified several environment, where simulated. The model showed at least cytosine and uracil presented significant abundances. Finally, thermochemical quantum calculations, investigation was carried out on for no insurmountable energy barrier would prevent found.
